International Dylan Thomas Day celebrates the life and work of Swansea’s most famous son, and people and organisations from all over the world join in by putting on an event, or simply reading some of Dylan’s work.

It is held annually on 14 May, the date Under Milk Wood was first read on stage at The Poetry Center, New York in 1953.

Here at the Dylan Thomas Centre, we share our love of his work every day, but 14 May is a great reason for us to celebrate even more! On Dylan Day, we’ll be testing your knowledge with an Under Milk Wood quiz!
