    About this Event

    To begin at the beginning:

Play Space Productions is pleased to welcome you to Dylan Thomas’s seaside town of Llareggub. Bugger all happens in this town on the surface, but if you dive deeper you might find…

That Mr and Mrs Pugh are poisonously fun!

…No good Boyo just wants to be a good boyo…

…Captain Cat, the blind sea Captain, sees quite a lot actually…

…Mr Dai Bread, the baker, is a busy man…

…Myfawny Price is sweet on Mog Edwards…

    …Who quite likes Myfawny back…

…Much like Sinbad Sailors loves Gossamer Beynon…

    …Who loves him back…

…But Mary Ann Sailors is 85 years three months and a day!… and does not approve…

…Whilst Mae Rose Cottage hides in a field and draws lipstick on her nipples!

We welcome you to this strange little town, docking in at Pegasus Arms for a short Christchurch season!

Under Milk Wood is a play for voices that will be performed as a live audio experience. Thirteen actors will assume the roles of the residents of Llareggub and perform for you this classic Welsh piece. This performance is not a stage production as you may have seen before, so prepare to set sail on a truly unique auditory voyage.

This radio play is accessible for visually impaired members of the community.
