SY23 3BUThere are many wonderful connections and coincidences, shared passions and associations that tie Bob Dylan and Dylan Thomas together. From the ancient folk tales of the Mabinogi to the poems of the Beat Generation, from Stravinsky to John Cale, and much, much more.
For Jeff Towns the two Dylans have been a constant part of and backdrop to his life, while K G Miles has been inspired by Bob Dylan since being an awestruck child at Bob’s performance at the Isle of Wight Festival in 1969 and is now the co-curator of the Dylan Room at London’s iconic Troubadour Club and author of the Troubadour Tales series.
Join us as the co-authors discuss their new book Bob Dylan and Dylan Thomas: The Two Dylans, which looks at the ties that bind these two cultural icons together
