Date: Previewed during the Cannes Film Festival

A welsh filmmaker Russell Owen has made a short 3 minute film in association with the National Parks, which was inspired by Dylan Thomas’s poem Love in the Asylum.

The film was made without any Dylan Thomas quotes/voice overs. It was just made with the inspiration. However, when a voiceover of the poem was added to test how it might work it fitted perfectly with the theme of the film.

It has been entered into a few film festivals and will be screened at Cannes Film Festival crediting Dylan Thomas as the inspiration and poet.

The festival coincides with International Dylan Thomas Day on May 14th and the film showing will be added as part of the celebrations.
