Project Description
Peter Wawerzinek Reflects on Dylan Thomas, Internationales Literaturfestival, Berlin
Date:
Tuesday September 11th
“The Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, born in 1914, was an icon of postwar poetry known for his inimitably spectacular readings in England and the United States. He died in New York in 1953. For his novel »Ich – Dylan – Ich« [I Dylan I], Peter Wawerzinek took several trips to Wales, where he located and described the landscapes and places of Dylan Thomas’s life. He reflects on the unique poet in a reading followed by a discussion.”
