    Originally commissioned for radio and conceived for voices only, Under Milk Wood lends itself perfectly to a recital performance.

    This production, directed by Colin Brimblecombe, allows Under Milk Wood to flow off the page like the lyrics of a song; the rich poetry of Dylan Thomas combines with character to present a deeply satirical portrait of the inhabitants of a small Welsh coastal town, steeped in tradition and local colour.

    Robert Steadman and Hannah Borrill take charge of original music and song for this very special production.
