  • UNDER MILK WOOD – AN ADAPTATION – SUPPER INCLUDED
Ever since its first performance as a radio play in 1954, Dylan Thomas’s Under Milk Wood has been much loved.

Set in the fictional Welsh fishing village of Llareggub (“Bugger all” backwards), memorable characters include Mrs. Ogmore-Pritchard, relentlessly nagging her two dead husbands; Captain Cat, reliving his seafaring times; the two Mrs. Dai Breads; Organ Morgan, obsessed with his music; and Polly Garter, pining for her dead lover.

On Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th Other Lives Productions will be mounting an adaptation in the café/bar of the East Riding Theatre. Supper will be included in the cost of the ticket.
