INTERNATIONAL DYLAN THOMAS DAY (14 May)

For the 8th consecutive year since its inception the city of Turin (Italy) wants to celebrate Dylan Thomas.

We are still facing challenges from Covid 19 and for this reason our project is online.

A new website has been created to collect contributions from poets, journalists and artists of different nationalities who will be led by Dylan Thomas’ words to contemplate bold and provocative visions:

A choice of verses from the collection of his poems will be the starting points for those who want to “respond” with other poems or “translate” Dylan’s words into images. The theme of WATER has been also suggested, considering that Dylan means “Son of the Sea”.
