ItalyGuy Masterson‘s one-man-show written by Dylan Thomas celebrates a day in the life of a Welsh hamlet, Llareggub.
Performed in English.
In this one-man-show, renowned British actor, Guy Masterson brilliantly recreates 69 characters of Dylan Thomas’s fictitious fishing village Llareggub -Bugger All spelt backwards! He brings these funny, bawdy, sensual and sometimes sad characters to life using nothing but a wooden chair, dark glasses, creative lighting and a beautifully haunting soundscape by Matt Clifford.
Dylan’s incredible literary and poetic work was first made famous by the legendary celebrity film-star Richard Burton with his unforgettable BBC Radio recording in 1954. Guy Masterson (Burton’s nephew) has created a highly unique and memorable visual performance for the stage. Under Milk Wood has been performed over 2000 times around the world.
A show not to be missed for lovers of the English language.105 minutes
