Project Description
Dylan Thomas Day @ The Leeds Library, Online
Date:
Saturday May 14th
Online
Join us for a celebration of the life and work of Dylan Thomas on the day Under Milk Wood was first performed.
The Leeds Library invites you to participate in the annual Dylan Day event, celebrating the life and work of Dylan Thomas. We are delighted to be returning to the Library in-person this year, and invite local poets who wish to read one poem of their own and their favourite Dylan Thomas poem to attend the Library in person and anyone who wishes to be in the audience to book via the Eventbrite link so you can enjoy the whole bonanza from the comfort of your own home.
Thanks to the cunning magic of technology, the event will also feature pre-recorded contributions from 92Y in New York, and other treats. Poets, please contact Hannah or Patrick directly to book a slot, stating your preference for which DT poem you want to read (and a couple of second choices). If you cannot be there in person but can pre-record your reading it might be possible to patch that in if we know if advance. hannahstone14@hotmail.com
