Brian Theodore Ralph is an actor and writer, who, as a Christmas treat, is going to be giving us his version of Dylan Thomas’s A Child’s Christmas in Wales. He trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He became a member of Equity in 1967 following which he spent the next twenty five years working in Theatre, The West End, Film, Radio and Television. He was an original company member of the Wolsey Theatre when it opened in 1979 and where over the years he worked on more than fifty productions as leading actor and director. In 1993 he began lecturing at Suffolk (New) College where he became head of Performing Arts and eventually Programme Leader of Performing Arts and Music. He retired from education in July 2013. He now enjoys the occasional performance or reading, is struggling to finish a novel and recently directed the sell-out production of Macbeth for Gallery Players at their Studio in St George’s Street.
